
Mega Fest-2 organised at Khalsa College
Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, run under the management of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, organised a one-day Mega Fest-2 under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira in collaboration with societies of various departments, IQAC and CESS RACK. The Mega Fest was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Jaspal Singh, former Principal, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar.

On this occasion, Harbans Singh Sidhu UK, Dr. Harvinder Singh Bath, Ranjit Singh Khakh, Yog Raj Gambhir, Rajvinder Singh Dayal USA, Amandeep Singh Bains, Kashmir Singh Bhajjal were specially present. Dr. Jaspal Singh appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the students in the Mega Fest. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira welcomed the guests.
Around 25 stalls were set up by students of various departments in the mega fest, which included traditional food, South Indian food, folk arts, mehndi, games dedicated to childhood memories, food items, hand-printed household items, recreational games etc. On this occasion, the students of the music department enthralled the audience with songs, folk songs, ghazals and poems.
Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira appreciated the efforts of Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Coordinator IQAC and Dr. Manbir Kaur Nodal Officer SAC RACK for preparing the outline of the program and said that such fairs play a significant role in the all-round development of students. These fairs help in enhancing the creative spirit and talent in students.
