
5 criminals arrested for trying to rob a bank, desi pistol, cartridges and sword recovered
Patiala, December 26- Police has caught 5 accused red handed while preparing to rob a bank. These accused had gathered at Gurdayalpura Beed in Samana, where the police raided and arrested them. A 32 bore desi pistol, two unfired cartridges and a magazine and a sword have been recovered from these accused.

DSP Samana G.S. Sikand said that the team of Sadar police station had set up a check post under the leadership of Sub Inspector Avtar Singh. After receiving secret information at the post, the police team raided. During this, Gurlawinder Singh, Lovejit Singh, Baljinder Singh, Pawan Singh and Manpreet Singh were arrested. All of them were planning to rob a bank.
All of them are around 20 years old and are residents of Samana. Police have obtained the record of previous criminal cases registered against all these accused, which are being investigated. The DSP said that everyone has been given two days' police remand so that remaining interrogation can be done.
