
Independence Day celebrated with full enthusiasm at Sikh National College Banga.
Banga/Nawanshahr- With the support of volunteers, the NSS Department and NCC Wing of Sikh National College, Banga under the guidance of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Ji celebrated 'Independence Day' with great enthusiasm. The program was started by the Principal by hoisting the flag.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that to maintain the unity and integrity of the country, students should cooperate as much as possible and should play a leading role in building a strong nation.
Because today's students are the leaders of tomorrow. They paid homage to the heroes who liberated the country and paid true tribute. Volunteer leaders Ranjit, Suman, Jaspreet Kaur, Sukhmanvir Singh, Muskan and Anjali also shared their views on the topic 'Importance of Independence Day'.
NCC Wing Commander Dr Gurvinder Singh, Program Officer Prof Vipan and Dr Nirmaljit Kaur congratulated everyone and motivated the volunteers to be a part of such events. On this occasion, Dr Jyoti Prakash, Prof Manmant Singh, Superintendent Paramjit Singh, Accountant Amandeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar etc. were present along with the volunteer students.
