Sardar Chaman Singh (Project Director) while addressing the students of the school said that drugs have become a very big problem in today's time. Because today a large number of students are also getting addicted to drugs.
School students do not have knowledge about drugs at such a young age, due to which they consume drugs knowingly or unknowingly or under the influence of someone, and later they gradually get addicted to drugs ranging from small drugs to big drugs like heroin. There are many problems in student life, but drugs are not the solution to any problem, so you should not be fooled by anyone and consume any kind of drug at all.
During this, he shared detailed information about the diseases caused by drug use and told that people who are addicted to drugs are mentally and physically ill themselves, due to this their family members are also mentally ill.
He shared many points to stay away from drugs, how to avoid drugs. He also appealed to the school teacher Sahabana to ensure that children are also made aware of drugs along with school education. So that children can stay away from such bad habits.
On this occasion, Mr. Parvesh Kumar (Peer Educator) also shared detailed information about the treatment of patients at the center that any drug addict can get free treatment by staying in the center for a month as per his wish, because addiction cannot be cured by staying at home, to get rid of addiction it is necessary to reach out to psychiatrists and drug detoxification centers. On this occasion, Mr. Sunil Sharma (Teacher) made the students aware about drugs and thanked the Red Cross team.
