Hoshiarpur- Bahujan Samaj Party Punjab President Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri, former member of Rajya Sabha, reached village Harta in Chabbewal assembly constituency, where a few days ago, a case of a woman and two minor daughters being forcibly taken to the police station by the police and civil administration due to a dispute over a drain in a family and a panchayat had come to light.
On this occasion, Dr. Karimpuri spoke to the villagers and strongly criticized the alleged oppression by the police administration, saying that even after 78 years of independence, oppression on minor daughters, women, the poor and the oppressed is not a people's rule.
If the head of the current government, the MP of the area, the MLA commits oppression on his own people, then he is not eligible to be elected. Karimpuri said that the police do not commit atrocities, but the government orders the police to beat the people.
He said that the oppressive government of Punjab should remember that the police cannot save the government nor can it form it, the people form the government. He said that in 2022, the people of Punjab won 93 AAP MLAs but the Akalis won only three, now in 2027, not even three of the AAP party will win, the oppressed people will teach the oppressor a lesson by removing the oppressor ruler from power in 2027.
Karimpuri said that the government's war against drugs has completely flopped, recently the video of forcibly putting drugs in the mouths of small children in the primary school of village Rurkan Kalan in the assembly constituency Phillaur has shocked him. He said that when only children are not safe now, how can the rest be saved.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government could not break the net of drug mafia run by the Congress, Akali and BJP governments due to which two lakh youth fell victim to whitewash. Karimpuri said that the AAP government has failed miserably in stopping the drug mafia.
In Punjab, the Congress, Akali BJP and AAP governments sacrificed two lakh mothers' sons, sisters' brothers to drugs, the consequences of which these parties will have to pay in 2027. Dr. Karimpuri appealed to the BSP leadership and workers to persevere in the party's work with dedication, honesty and responsibility and invited them to form the BSP government in Punjab in 2027.
Karimpuri said that the Bahujan Samaj Party is standing with the people in the Chabbewal constituency. He announced that on August 23, in consultation with the leadership, the BSP will hold a rally against government oppression under the Punjab Sambalo campaign. Punjab Coordinator Gurnam Chaudhary, District President Daljit Rai, Chabbewal Constituency In-charge Advocate Palwinder Mana, and Constituency President Yash Bhatti were also present on this occasion.
