Garhshankar, August 27- Due to the lack of any kind of railing on the side of the road built from Garhshankar to Adampur on the banks of the Bist Doab Canal, many lives and property have been lost. People have demanded many times that the lives of the common people should be protected by installing railings on this road.
But it is regrettable to write that despite raising the issue many times, the government is not taking a serious decision in this regard. Due to which the lives of the common people are always at stake.
The common people hope that the government will pay immediate attention to this very legitimate demand of the people and arrange for railings and at the same time, traffic solar lights will also be arranged at the intersections on this road.
Many vehicles and many precious lives have been lost on this road due to these shortcomings.
