
Solar energy system installed at the head office of Punjab Pollution Control Board
Patiala, December 12- Under the guidance of Punjab Pollution Control Board Chairman Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Pal Vig, taking a step towards self-reliance and alternative means of electricity in the energy sector, a total capacity of 183 kW solar energy system is being installed on all the buildings of the board. Under this, today Chairman Dr. Adarsh Pal Vig visited the 60 kW capacity solar energy system installed at the head office of the board, Nabha Road, Patiala.

Under this, today Chairman Dr. Adarsh Pal Vig visited the 60 kW capacity solar energy system installed at the head office of the board, Nabha Road, Patiala.
On this occasion, he was accompanied by Board Member Secretary Eng. G.S. Majithia, Eng. Loveneet Dubey, Chief Environmental Engineer, Mr. Amrik Singh, Senior Law Officer, Eng. Sandeep Kaur, Environmental Engineer, Mr. Janak Raj, Scientific Officer and other officers of the board.
On this occasion, Board Chairman Dr. Vig said that it is the need of the hour that everyone should contribute to the progress of the country by becoming self-reliant in the field of energy by installing solar energy systems as an alternative source of electricity in commercial and domestic places.
