
MLA Randhawa dispatches fodder and feed for the animals of flood victims of Dera Baba Nanak
Lalru (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), 09 September 2025: MLA of Derabassi constituency S. Kuljit Singh Randhawa dispatched relief material for the flood victims from Lalru Grain Market today. This relief was collected with the support of Arthi Association, Truck Union and various party office bearers.

This relief was collected with the support of Arthi Association, Truck Union and various party office bearers.
S. Randhawa said that the daily life of the people in Shahpur Jajan village of Dera Baba Nanak has been badly affected due to floods. Many families of the village have lost their homes, livestock and daily necessities to the floods. To help them in this hour of crisis, two trucks have been sent from Lalru today, in which one truck is filled with feed for the animals and the other with chokar.
The MLA said that the floods have caused great damage in many areas of the state. At this time, all the people, organizations and the government need to work together so that the flood-affected families can be brought back to normal life as soon as possible. He expressed special gratitude to the Aarti Association, Truck Union and other supporting organizations who contributed in collecting and delivering this relief material.
On this occasion, he appealed to the people to come forward to help the flood-affected brothers. S. Randhawa said, "At this time, we have to fulfill our human duty and we have to hold each other's hands."
Many social workers, party office bearers and local residents were also present during the departure of the relief material.
