Hoshiarpur- On the occasion of International Youth Day, a special lecture was organized by the Red Ribbon Club at Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial Khalsa College Dumeli, an educational institution running under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, on the theme of Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond.
On this occasion, Madam Amarpal Kaur Ji, Head of the History Department and Coordinator of the Red Ribbon Club, gave detailed information to the students on the theme of International Youth Day and Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond through PPT.
On this occasion, Madam Amarpal Kaur, while addressing the students, said that the purpose of International Youth Day is to make the youth aware and empowered so that they can be ready to face the challenges faced by the society and the environment.
On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasoolpur Ji, while addressing the students, said that youth is not only the future of the country but also an important part of the present which has the power to bring about change while facing challenges. On this occasion, teachers from various departments were also present along with the students.
