Hoshiarpur- Municipal Commissioner Hoshiarpur Dr. Amandeep Kaur while giving information said that with the aim of making the environment clean and pollution-free, the Municipal Corporation planted various types of plants in the cowshed located in Ekta Nagar. Various representatives of 'Gobind Gaudham Gau Sewa Samiti' actively participated in this campaign by giving full support in this important work.
Everyone took the pledge that this campaign will be continued continuously. The Commissioner Municipal Corporation said that by planting trees in the cowshed, not only will the animals get shade, but it will also prove helpful in creating a green environment.
Dr. Amandeep Kaur appealed to the city residents to plant at least one tree under the pledge of 'One Man-One Tree' to keep the environment clean and make the city beautiful.
He also said that plants grow and flourish more during the rainy season, so maximum trees should be planted during this season, so that the environment can be kept clean and the city can be made pollution-free.
