Garhshankar- The entire staff of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, which is run under the management of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, has decided to donate one day's salary for flood victims.
College Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that taking inspiration from the service work being done by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee under the leadership of President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami in the flood affected areas, the college staff under the able leadership of Sukhminder Singh, Secretary Education, Shiromani Committee has decided to donate one day's salary for flood victims. He said that this amount is being sent for the service work of the Shiromani Committee.
He said that soon after the college opens, students will also contribute to this noble cause. He said that in the future also, the college staff will be present to contribute to the service work in difficult times. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira and staff appreciated the work being done by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee in the flood affected areas, including setting up langar.
