20th installment of PM Kisan Nidhi Yojana released.

Chandigarh, August 2 - Haryana Government's Food and Supplies Consumer Affairs Minister Mr. Rajesh Nagar said that under PM-Kisan Yojana, the 20th installment of Rs. 11.96 crore was sent directly to 59,818 eligible farmers of Yamunanagar district at the rate of Rs. 2,000 per farmer.

Chandigarh, August 2 - Haryana Government's Food and Supplies Consumer Affairs Minister Mr. Rajesh Nagar said that under PM-Kisan Yojana, the 20th installment of Rs. 11.96 crore was sent directly to 59,818 eligible farmers of Yamunanagar district at the rate of Rs. 2,000 per farmer.
This amount will prove helpful in providing financial support to farmers during the Kharif season. He said that since the PM-Kisan Yojana was launched in 2019, the amount of assistance per installment of Rs. 2000 is being given to the farmer.
Mr. Rajesh Nagar was speaking as the chief guest at the Pradhan Kisan Utsav program under the 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Yamunanagar.
He congratulated the farmers and praised the Agriculture Department for the successful implementation of the scheme.
He said that PM-KISAN Yojana is a historic initiative to honour and empower the food producers of our country, which aims to make their agriculture prosperous by providing financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. I am happy to inform you that this is not just a matter of today - so far, a total amount of more than Rs 250 crore has been provided to the farmers of Yamunanagar district through 20 installments under PM-KISAN Yojana.
The Minister of State said that our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji had said that the honour of the farmer is the honour of the country and today this scheme is realizing the same concept. I also want to congratulate the District Administration and Agriculture Department, who ensured that the benefits of the scheme reach the right people with complete transparency for the eligible farmers. 
In the future too, the State Government will make every possible effort at every level to ensure that the farmers are provided with timely fertilizer, seeds, irrigation and proper market facilities.
