
Desh Bhagat University launches Dr. Manmohan Singh PhD Fellowship Programme
Mandi Gobindgarh, January 22 – Desh Bhagat University has launched a new fellowship programme with 15 PhD slots in honour of one of India’s most respected leaders and former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. The programme offers 10 fellowships for Indian scholars and 5 fellowships for international scholars.

The programme offers 10 fellowships for Indian scholars and 5 fellowships for international scholars.
This will include monthly stipend and practical experience as a teaching and research assistant. Dr. Zora Singh, Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University emphasised DBU’s commitment to quality research and interdisciplinary studies while President, Dr. Sandeep Singh encouraged scholars to avail this opportunity to contribute to research relevant to global challenges and societal progress.
He said they should engage with advancing knowledge, nation building and shaping a brighter future. Dr. Tajinder Kaur Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Abhijit H. Joshi, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Harsh Sadavarti Vice President and Surjit Kaur Patheja were present on the occasion.
