Deputy Commissioner held a review meeting with officials to resolve the problems of industrialists

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 31: After the government-industrialist meeting held in the district on September 15, 2023, the problems of the industrialists were heard under the review meeting organized by the Deputy Commissioner to resolve the problems faced by the industrialists from time to time.

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 31: After the government-industrialist meeting held in the district on September 15, 2023, the problems of the industrialists were heard under the review meeting organized by the Deputy Commissioner to resolve the problems faced by the industrialists from time to time.
In this meeting, discussions were held with various departments about the solution of problems faced by the industrialists related to existing industrial units and new industrial units in the district.
During the meeting, it was decided to coordinate with the Administrative Secretary of the Public Works Department for crossing from the National Highway, to make arrangements for the drainage of treated water from the channel focal point. Apart from this, immediate action was assured to resolve the increasing traffic problem in the industrial area. Regarding the difficulty being faced in GST determination, the Assistant Commissioner (State Tax) informed that the rationalization policy in this regard is being implemented soon.
Apart from this, demand for uninterrupted power supply was also made, on which the Deputy Commissioner assured immediate action. During the meeting, Mrs. Sonam Chaudhary, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) SAS Nagar placed the problems being faced by the industrialists before the Deputy Commissioner for action by the concerned departments, on which the Deputy Commissioner directed the departments present in the meeting to solve the problems being faced by the industrialists on priority basis.
He directed that for the problems which are to be resolved at the state government level, the necessary request letters should be written from the Deputy Commissioner's office to their administrative secretaries. In this meeting, GM Arshjit Singh of the District Industries Center assured to solve the problems being faced by the industrialists and to submit the details of the review report in the stipulated time by coordinating with the concerned departments.
