Commandos given training on disaster management, first aid, fire safety.

Patiala:- Under the week dedicated to the mission of Bhai Ghanhaiyya Ji, who saved the precious lives of injured soldiers and civilians during wars and disasters, the commandos from different districts of Punjab at Qila Bahadurgarh were trained on disaster management, first aid, CPR, care of the injured and fire safety, use of cylinders by the Government of India's Disaster Management Trainer Shri Kaka Ram Verma by conducting various practicals.

Patiala:- Under the week dedicated to the mission of Bhai Ghanhaiyya Ji, who saved the precious lives of injured soldiers and civilians during wars and disasters, the commandos from different districts of Punjab at Qila Bahadurgarh were trained on disaster management, first aid, CPR, care of the injured and fire safety, use of cylinders by the Government of India's Disaster Management Trainer Shri Kaka Ram Verma by conducting various practicals.
He said that due to respiratory arrest, heart attack, cardiac arrest, fainting, lack of oxygen and glucose supply to the brain, excessive bleeding, foreign body in the throat or airway, blood, vomiting, suffocation, tongue and teeth etc., the victims die immediately. Therefore, training was given on first aid, CPR, recovery position, ventilator artificial respiration and saving the victims without stopping the internal circulation.
He gave training on lying on the ground for self-defense and helping the victims during wars, earthquakes, fires, gas leaks, electric short circuits. Former ADFO Punjab Fire and Emergency Services Jatinder Pal and Bharat Bhushan gave training on the causes of fires, types of fires, methods of extinguishing fires and cylinders.
DSP Shri Hardeep Singh Badungar, while giving information about the work done by Bhai Ghanaiya Ji on behalf of the Commandant and thanking him, said that in order to prevent the loss of life and property due to disasters, wars, epidemics and climatic changes in the future, Punjab Police and Commandos are being prepared as helping angels for the victims.
For which purpose, the services of experienced, learned, knowledgeable disaster management trainers like Kaka Ram Verma are being taken. On this occasion, a lady commando told that her daughter got a toffee stuck in her throat but as Kaka Ram Verma Ji had told her, she saved her daughter from dying.
An inspector told that she saved the life of the road accident victim by putting him in the recovery position, not giving him water, and taking him to the hospital. Therefore, this training is more useful than treatment. And every citizen and employee should take it.
