SAS Nagar (Mohali)- Former Akali Minister Bikram Singh Majithia, arrested on charges of amassing assets beyond his means, has been extended till September 6. Majithia appeared in a Mohali court today through video conferencing from the New Jail in Nabha.
In which the court extended his judicial custody till September 6. Similarly, the hearing of Majithia's barrack change case was also scheduled today, which has now been postponed to August 30.
Meanwhile, Majithia's lawyers filed an application in the court demanding a copy of the 40,000-page challan submitted by the Vigilance and the court has ordered that this copy be provided to Majithia's lawyers by September 2.
