SAS Nagar, April 20 - Senior Congress leader Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhali Kalan has said that the people of Punjab have suffered a lot from the two-year tenure of the current Mann government and will win the Congress candidates during the Lok Sabha elections.

In the statement issued here, he said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has not done any other work other than creating a pot of talk. He said that before the assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party leaders who claimed to give all crops and MSP to farmers are nowhere to be found today. He said that drug addiction was not stopped in Punjab, nor 16 new medical colleges were built, women did not get Rs 1000, old age pension was not increased, the unemployed did not get jobs, development work did not start in the villages and neither did the employees. For the old pension scheme only came into force.

He said that the law and order situation in Punjab has become worse than in UP and Bihar and the morale of gangsters is high. He said that every section has been disappointed by the Hon'ble government and the people of Punjab are regretting voting for the Aam Aadmi Party.
