SAS Nagar, April 20 - Former Member of Parliament and Shiromani Akali Dal candidate from Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha Constituency Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra has said that the Congress party is bidding for the Anandpur Sahib constituency ticket. And many wealthy families are bidding huge sums to get tickets.

On the occasion of giving the appointment letters to the new office bearers of the party at his place of residence today, he said that this constituency has always been neglected by the Congress party. And the performance of the leaders representing the constituency from Congress has been zero. He said that this is the reason why the candidate who contests the election from here on the Congress ticket leaves the constituency and goes elsewhere after winning the election.

He said that the Akali Dal always respects the workers and the leaders working for the party are being given new responsibilities. On this occasion, he nominated Mr. Jaswant Singh Bhullar, Mr. Paramjit Singh Kahlon and Jathedar Kartar Singh Tsimbali as Vice President, Mr. Karam Singh Babra and Mr. Paramjit Singh Gill as PAC members, Mr. Gurcharan Singh Nanna, Mr. Pritam Singh, Mr. Tarsem Singh Gadho. General Council Member and Shamsher Singh Purkhalvi were given appointment letters as General Secretary of SC Cell. Parvinder Singh Baidwan, Simranjit Singh Chandumajra, former councilor Parminder Singh Tsimbali and other leaders were present in the Mohali Constituency.
