Nawanshahr - A meeting regarding the review of revenue works was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Verma. In which the officials/employees of the Revenue Department were asked to deposit the padding deposits in time with Sadar Kanungo. He said that padding transfers which are more than one month should be settled on priority basis. He instructed to dispose of the padding marks, which is now standing on the spot with wheat crop, 100% after the crop is cut.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajeev Verma also directed the officers/employees that the padding deposits/transfers and markings should be disposed of by 30th April 2024 in all cases. And after 30th April 2024, no officer/employee should keep them on their pass padding. He said that in the 103 villages where the ground truthing work is pending, it should be done immediately. As per CAG paragraphs, the amount due to be recovered, that recovery should also be done immediately.

District Revenue Officer Mandeep Singh Mann, Tehsildar Nawanshahr Parveen Chhibbar, Tehsildar Banga Harminder Singh, Tehsildar Balachor Vikas Verma, Naib Tehsildar Nawanshahr/Banga/Aur/Blachaur, Navneet Kaur District System Manager, PLRS, Assistant System Manager, Nawanshahr/Blachaur Kanungos of /Banga/ Aur and other tehsils were present.
