Balachore - Hon'ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh Mr. Banwari Lal Purohit specially participated in 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra' which reached Bharthala village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. On this occasion, people were given information about the various schemes of the Government of India and the concept of a developed India was also taken. Shri Banwari Lal Purohit while sharing his views said that it is important for every citizen to be aware about the public welfare schemes of the government.
And now it becomes our responsibility to make our society aware about the schemes. To achieve this goal, the Bharat Sankalp Yatra developed is reaching different places and it is our aim to reach the welfare schemes of the Government of India to all the needy. He said that to save the future generations, it is necessary to save them from drugs. Every citizen has to be aware about this. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and SSP Dr. Akhil Chaudhary, along with officials from various departments of each government were also present.
Stalls were set up by various departments regarding the schemes of the government and the beneficiaries who took advantage of the schemes of the central government also shared their heart feelings while thanking the government. Meanwhile, in the presence of the Honorable Governor, the resolution for a developed India was taken and also heard the views of the beneficiaries who have benefited from the government schemes under Meri Kahani Meri Jubani.
