Hoshiarpur- Due to the failure of Aam Aadmi Party to protect the interests of Punjab and Punjabis, many workers associated with AAP have started joining Congress in the interest of the state. This was said by Urban Congress President Navpreet Rahil and SC Department Chairman Gurdeep Katoch while welcoming Surjit Singh Rinku who left AAP and joined Congress along with his colleagues.
Meanwhile, along with Rinku, Gagandeep Rahimpur, Bhupinder Singh, Manjit Singh etc. also joined Congress. On this occasion, Mr. Rahil and Katoch welcomed everyone to the Congress party and said that Aam Aadmi Party has completely failed to fulfill the promises made to the people and the party volunteers. Due to this, the volunteers of AAP are also feeling cheated and are facing humiliation among the people.
Therefore, seeing the Congress in its best form, they are coming forward to join it for the betterment of Punjab and Punjabis. Because during the tenure of the previous Congress government, work has been done on those schemes for which the foundation stone was laid and funds were also released. Whereas the 'AAP' government of the state has not laid a single brick in the name of development in the whole of Punjab as well as in Hoshiarpur.
Former Sarpanch Sodhi Ram, Abhishek Kaushal, Maninderpal, Davinder Kumar, Jaswinder Kumar, Dilbagh Singh, Kulwinder Katoch, Balwinder Singh, Daljit Kumar, Suresh Khosla and other Congress leaders were present on this occasion.
