A youth shot dead near Main Chowk Mahilpur

The police reached the spot and started the investigation. According to the information, Mahesh Kumar son of Ashok Kumar Rana, the owner of the bakery shop near Main Chowk of Mahilpur, said that around 5 pm today, his mother Bholi and a woman were sitting in the shop, when Sunny Bhardwaj (35), son of Hari Om, a resident of Mahilpur, approached him. parked the Bullet motorcycle outside the shop and came inside the shop to take the goods. Suddenly, another youth who came behind him, who was covering his face with a cloth, fired 6-7 shots. After firing indiscriminate shots, the young assailant ran away with his companion on a motorcycle parked far away. Sunny Bhardwaj was seriously injured due to the close range of bullets. He was taken to Civil Hospital Mahilpur for treatment. He died on reaching there.
        It is to be mentioned that the deceased Sunny Bhardwaj was arrested under the Arms Act in case number 271 on 28/12 in Mahilpur police station, who was on bail for the last 25 days. The Mahilpur police reached the spot and started investigation based on the footage of the CCTV camera.
