Una, 26 March:- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inspected the Senior Citizen Facilitation Center and Residential Home (Aashray Parodha) located in Chadatgarh, Una. During his visit on Tuesday, he met the senior citizens living in Ashray Parodha and inquired about their well-being and inquired about the facilities available there.
The Deputy Commissioner also took stock of the entire system of health care of senior citizens there. He instructed the concerned officials and the shelter Parodha management to take full care of all the health related needs of the senior citizens. He also inspected the additional construction work going on there and took information about its progress from the officials.
He said that soon OPD, psychiatrist, yoga and meditation and other facilities will also be available to the beneficiaries living in Parodha Ashram. This will benefit them on a large scale.
Let us tell you, once a week a doctor from the Regional Hospital or Ayurvedic Hospital Una examines the health of the senior citizens in Ashraya Parodha, so that proper care is ensured to the senior citizens living there, and they can live a good life. Apart from this, physiotherapy facility is also available for the senior citizens living in the shelter every Tuesday of the week. The Deputy Commissioner said that apart from the senior citizens living in Ashray Parodha, other senior citizens can also avail the facility of physiotherapy.
BDO Una KL Verma, Advocate Suresh Kumar Airi, Shammi Jain, Ganesh Dutt, Satish Kumar, Arun Kumar and others were present during the inspection.
