Una, March 20 - With the aim of increasing public participation in the Lok Sabha elections and increasing the vote percentage, Una district administration is busy organizing various activities to make people aware about the exercise of voting rights. Cooperation of all departments is also being taken in this. In this sequence, voter awareness programs were conducted on Wednesday in 355 Anganwadi centers working under Child Development Project Una. CDPO Una Kuldeep Dayal said that Anganwadi workers made people aware about the importance and use of voting rights.

On this occasion, Anganwadi workers also informed the people that the Election Commission has given the option of voting from home to the disabled and elderly voters above 85 years of age. For this they will have to fill Form-12D. BLOs will provide this form at every home.

Meanwhile, District Election Officer and DC Jatin Lal said that Una district administration is continuously trying to make voters aware about ensuring 100 percent voting. He appealed for cooperation from everyone in this. He said that democracy becomes stronger only through the use of voting rights. All voters should exercise their franchise boldly in elections.
