Hoshiarpur - Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that 'Hoshiarpur Nature Fest' is being organized from March 1 to March 5 by district Hoshiarpur with the support of tourism and culture department of Punjab government. He said that the main event will be held at the Dussehra ground, apart from this, various activities will be organized for the people from Nara Dam, Kookanet to Dehri. The Deputy Commissioner said that on March 1, Chief Guest Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Investment Promotion, Hospitality, Labor Minister Punjab Anmol Gagan will inaugurate the fair and on the same day Punjabi singer Kulwinder Billa will entertain the people with his songs in Star Night. He said that the purpose of 'Hoshiarpur Nature Fest' is to make people aware of the immense possibilities of tourism in Hoshiarpur, which is in the lap of nature. For which Dussehra ground Hoshiarpur cultural program, exhibitions of self help groups, food market, farmers market, singer night, kite flying, hot air ballooning, display galleries will be set up. Apart from this, Camping, Trekking, Night Live Band, Off Roading from Kookanet to Dehri, Eco Huts in Thana Dam, High Speed Boating, Shikara Rides, Jungle Safari, Chauhal Dam Safari, Speed Boating, Cafe Zone, Nature Walk, Burma Bridge etc activities will be organized.
Komal Mittal said that different activities will be conducted for five days. He appealed to the residents of the district to participate in the 'Hoshiarpur Nature Fest'. He said that not only district residents but also people from other places will be able to see the beauty of Hoshiarpur through this event. Apart from this, daily cultural programs will be organized in the fair. He also gave instructions to make this fair a success while reviewing the preparations of various committees formed regarding the preparations of 'Hoshiarpur Nature Fest'.
