Garhshankar - Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College NSS unit of the college started a 7-day NSS camp under the leadership of Acting Principal Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur under the theme Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Meri Mati Mera Desh.
Unit in-charge Dr. Arvinder Singh and Prof. Naresh Kumari shared information about the activities of the NSS unit during the camp. And highlighted the contribution and importance of NSS camp for bright future of students. The first day of the camp started with prayers at the College Gurdwara Sahib. On this occasion, all the volunteers and unit incharges together chanted the college slogan 'Dehi Shiva Baru Mohi Ihai'. On the first day of the camp, Mithe started the work and conducted a cleaning campaign at Gurdwara Sahib. Acting Principal Prof Lakhwinderjit Kaur praised the courage of the NSS volunteers and encouraged the unit in-charges to conduct the camp wholeheartedly. The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college were present at the commencement of the camp.
