Hoshiarpur: Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Pawan Kumar Shagotra visited SDH Garhshankar and Aam Aadmi Clinic Haibowal and Khuralgarh of Posi Block. On this occasion, Dr. Navaldeep from Posi Block and District Program Manager Mohammad Asif were also present. The Civil Surgeon specially visited the Gynaecology Ward at SDH Garhshankar. 
He reviewed the health facilities being provided to the pregnant women admitted there and also inspected the food being given to them. He also checked the hospital lab and pharmacy store and checked the stock of available medicines. After that, the Civil Surgeon checked the Aam Aadmi Clinic Haibowal and Khuralgarh of Posi Block. 
He checked the attendance of all the staff posted on duty and instructed everyone to be punctual. He specially reviewed the patient records, stock of medicines and cleanliness. Dr. Shagotra asked the staff to maintain the functioning and patient records properly. While reviewing the pharmacy store, he asked them to ensure the availability of necessary medicines for the patients so that the patients do not face any kind of trouble and every necessary facility provided by the government to the people could be provided. 
He inquired about the health of the patients who came there and got information about the medicines given to them and the health facilities being provided. He instructed the staff to follow the rules for disposal of bio-medical waste. He asked the staff at both the health institutions to provide better health services to the common people, adopt a loving attitude towards the patients and instructed them to take the patients who come to the health institution seriously during any kind of emergency.
