Chandigarh, July 2 - A delegation of Khatik Samaj Haryana, led by Social, Judicial Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare and Anti-Corruption Minister Shri Krishan Kumar Bedi, paid a courtesy call on Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini in Chandigarh today. On this occasion, the delegation presented an invitation letter to the Chief Minister for the state-level Jayanti program of Sant Shiromani Durbalnath Ji to be organized in Hisar on September 6, 2025.
The delegation thanked the Chief Minister and said that the Haryana Government, following the principle of Sabda Saath, Sabda Vikas, Sabda Vishwas and Sabda Prayas, has allotted 781.82 square meters of land in PL Sector, Hisar to Sant Durbalnath Shiksha Khatik Samaj at government rate for conducting social, religious and educational works.
The delegation appealed to the Chief Minister to attend this historic program to be held on September 6 as the chief guest and also lay the foundation stone of the construction work on the said land.
The Chief Minister appreciated the efforts being made by the Khatik Samaj for the progress and unity of the society. He said that with the aim of promoting social harmony and brotherhood, the Haryana Government has started the Sant Mahapurakh Samman Vichar Aar Prasar Yojana to convey the message of saints and great men to the public.
Under this, the birth anniversaries and special days of saints and great men of all societies are being celebrated at the state level. He assured that the Haryana Government is always committed to social harmony and the upliftment of all sections.
The delegation included Sant Durbalnath Education Committee, Hisar President Shri Raghubir Singh Badhgujar, Shri Poornchand Panwar, Shri Ramesh Ratvaya, Shri Thakur Dutt Panwar, Shri Nekram Baswala, Shri Saliram Chandel, Shri Shersingh Khanna, Dr. Satpal Chawla, Prof. Surendra Badgujar, Advocate Sumit Maini, Shri Parvesh Kumar and other officials.
