Nawanshahr, - Construction of new critical care unit has started today at District Hospital, Nawanshahr under the able guidance of Honorable Civil Surgeon Dr. Jaspreet Kaur ji. The multi-storied unit will have 50 beds for critical patients, where they will get state-of-the-art healthcare facilities.
Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harpreet Singh and Senior Medical Officer of District Hospital, Nawanshahr, Dr. Satwinderpal Singh jointly started the work. Other officials and staff of District Hospital, Nawanshahr were present on this occasion.
On this occasion, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harpreet Singh said that the construction of critical care unit will give a big gift to the people of Nawanshahr. This critical care unit will cater to the needs of critically ill patients requiring advanced medical services across the district.
On this occasion, Senior Medical Officer of District Hospital, Nawanshahr, Dr. Satwinderpal Singh said that after the new critical care unit is ready, better health services will be provided to critical patients in case of road accidents or any other type of emergency. This work is likely to be completed in about a year.
