Addressing the meeting on this occasion, Gurjit Kaur, leader of 4161 Teachers Union, also demanded that special opportunities for transfers should be given to 4161 teachers in the new session as these teachers are forced to work 200-250 kilometers away despite many posts being vacant in their native districts.
