Una, February 3 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal on Saturday inspected the solar power plant site being constructed by Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited at a cost of Rs 220 crore at Pekhubela in Una assembly constituency. He directed the concerned officials to quickly complete the construction work of the 32 MW solar power plant under construction. He asked the officials to make the solar power plant work better under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). He said that the vacant land along with the site should be developed as a better destination from tourism point of view so that people coming to see the solar power plant can get better facilities so that tourism can be promoted. The Deputy Commissioner said that the administration will provide full support to develop the site from tourism point of view.

Also know the working system of Indian Oil Plant
After this, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal also visited the Indian Oil Plant located at Pekhubela. During this, he got information about the working system of the plant and the control room of the plant.

Deputy Commissioner inspected the district jail
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the district jail. During the inspection, the prisoners' accommodation, prison kitchen and other arrangements of the prison were also checked. The Deputy Commissioner said that the prisoners in the District Jail have the facility of TV for entertainment and canteen for food and drink. Apart from this, the health of the inmates is also regularly checked by the MBBS Dr. and for their physical fitness, facility of playing volleyball and badminton as well as open air gym is also available. He asked the District Jail Superintendent to identify two tasks for the prisoners in the jail so that the prisoners can be trained for those tasks.
Apart from this, the Deputy Commissioner also inspected the ongoing repair works in the district jail.
