Garhshankar January 30 - Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, Garhshankar, under the leadership of Acting Principal Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, a lecture on 'Print and Electronic Media: Possibilities and Challenges' was organized by Department of Computer Science and Languages in collaboration with IQAC. Mr. Jagjivanmeet Adara Jagbani/Punjab Kesari Chandigarh attended the lecture as the main speaker. Acting Principal of the college Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur welcomed the speaker Jagjivanmeet on his arrival at the college. On this occasion, Jagjivanmeet informed the students face to face about the field of print and electronic media and the challenges related to it. He said that the job of the media is to convey real and correct information to the people. Along with this, he discussed the positive and negative effects of electronic media on print media. He informed the students about the good employment opportunities in the field of journalism and encouraged the students to associate with newspapers and magazines. On this occasion, the stage action was conducted by Prof. Navdeep Singh. Prof. Lakhwinderjit Kaur, Executive Principal, Prof. Kanwar Kulwant Singh, Prof. Kuldeep Kaur, Coordinator IQAC, staff and students were present on this occasion.
