Sanur January 27 - A special program was organized on the occasion of 75th Republic Day at Sanur Municipal Council Office. During the program, they honored the sanitation workers by distributing warm clothes. Speaking on this occasion, he said that Punjab has contributed the most in the creation of the modern Indian Republic by making innumerable sacrifices to gain the freedom of the country and by safeguarding the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country. He said that today's day has special significance for Punjab because Punjabis have made great sacrifices for the sake of this country. He said, "Even before the independence of the country, January 26 came many times but no one was allowed to hoist the national flag. Now we have the right to celebrate this day, but it is very sad that the tableau of the state was deliberately kept out of the Republic Day parade in the national capital. How can national days be celebrated without Punjab. He said that those who have kept out the tableau of Punjab as a myth, they should tell what was wrong in this tableau.
He said that the tableaux prepared by the Punjab government embodied the rich culture and heritage of the state but the central government has mocked the unparalleled sacrifices of Punjabis which cannot be tolerated at any cost. On this occasion, EO GV Sharma, Pradeep Pathanamajra, Yuvraj Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Sham Singh Pradhan, Narinder Singh Takhar, Kuldeep Gujar, Pritpal Singh, Rimpi, Jimin Dhot, Harinder Singh, Karamjit Goldi, Rakesh Kumar, office officials and local people were present
