Garhshankar - MNREGA Labor Movement meeting was held under the leadership of President Jai Gopal Dhiman and Block President Gurbaksh Kaur. In which he condemned the punitive policies of the Punjab government and the bullying of MNREGA workers and mates. Dhiman said that instructions have been issued by the MNREGA Ombudsman to restore the abandoned mates after completing the examination. Corresponding copies of which were distributed to the mates. On this occasion, Party General Secretary Davinder Singh, Sonu Mehtpur, Met Rakesh Bala, Gurbaksh Kaur, Kamaljit Kaur, Satnam Kaur, Sudesh Kumari, Balwinder Kaur, Parvinder Singh, Vasdev Badala and Surinder Kaur Satnaur were present. Dhiman said that MNREGA workers and mates have to bear the brunt of the corruption spread in the panchayat department. Dhiman said that the mates have been restored. But the case of corruption in cattle sheds is still pending. He said that all the evidence regarding this has been given in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. He said that the duplicitous policies of the Punjab government will be kept among the people. Mate Manjit Kaur, Gurbachan Singh and Manjit Singh etc. were also present on this occasion.
