SAS Nagar, January 23 - Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Gurmail Singh SAS Nagar conducted a survey of the demonstration plants of mustard and wheat crops planted under the Atma scheme in the villages of Majatari, Dhadak Kalan, Khurd, Popna etc.

On this occasion, Dr. Gurmail Singh told the farmers that special care should be taken in irrigation during the initial stage of flowering, pod formation and grain formation of the mustard crop. He said that now the condition of the crop is normal, there is no attack of any kind of insect or disease But now the fields should be monitored for the attack of Chepey. These insects cover the flowers and pods in large numbers and suck the sap of the plant. For its prevention, Actor 25WG 40 grams should be dissolved in 80 to 125 liters of water and sprayed.
