After the welcome message by the President, the achievements of the year 2023 were shared with the House. According to which the total number of blood donation camps by the organization has increased to 1718 by organizing 77 blood donation camps during the year. During the last financial year, four lakh forty five thousand rupees were helped in blood center and lab test services to the needy. The number of free blood grouping test camps has increased to 690 by organizing 7 camps of free blood grouping last year. The number of registered thalassemia and chronic cases has increased to 110 To whom 215 units of blood were issued without test fees last year on a priority basis. The House was told that with the registration of 10 blood donor motivators last year, the number of active motivators has increased to 343. Information was shared that whole-blood test charges Rs 1500/- per unit, Platelets concentrate Rs 400/- per unit, Fresh-frozen plasma Rs 400/- per unit and Platelet A-pheresis charges Rs 11500/- per unit. are done The annual report was approved with applause. Addressing the event, Mr. GS Toor shared information about local history of blood donation service and new projects. Dr. Ajay Bagga gave more technical information about journey from blood to blood component services and motivator support and Dr. Dayal Saroop about lab services. Mr. JS Gidda and Mr. Praveen Kumar Bhatia MC also addressed the event. On this occasion, members of Yuva Blood Donation Promotion Committee Mr. Manmeet Singh, Mr. Bhupinder Chauhra, Mr. Jasveer Singh Bahalur Kalan, Mr. Rajinder Chhokar, Mr. Gurinder Singh Sethi, Mr. Rajiv Bharadwaj, Mr. Hitendra Khanna, Mr. Malakiat Singh Saroa, Mr. Mukesh Kahma on Covid. Appreciation was expressed for their services for helping the needy day and night during the difficult times of an unwanted disease like dengue. And best wishes were offered to them. Written recommendations were given by the promoters for blood donation camps for the year 2024-25. The suggestions/complaints from Mr. Narinder Singh Bharata, Mr. Balveer Singh Thandi, Mr. Mahinderpal Bangabet, Mr. Rajinder Chhokar, Mr. Jagtar Singh Jabowal, Mr. Jasvir Singh Bahalur Kalan were heard.
