Una, January 19 - The 14th National Voter's Day is being organized in the district on January 25 at the district, sub-division and booth level. Giving information about this, District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma said that this time the district level National Voter's Day will be organized in Government College, Una. He said that the theme of National Voters' Day for the year 2024 will be 'Nothing like Vote, We will definitely vote', the basic objective of which is to get the names of voters of 18 years of age and above registered in the voter list along with the participation of all voters in the elections. Participation has to be promoted more and more.
He said that on the occasion of the 14th National Voters' Day, other cultural programs including speech, quiz and drama competitions based on the theme of Voters' Day will also be organised. Apart from this, videos and films made on postal ballot paper facility provided to voters during elections by the Election Commission of India, minimum facilities ensured at polling stations, EVM/VVPAT, voter helpline mobile app, moral voting etc. will be displayed during the event to create awareness.
