Hoshiarpur- A special information session of Indian Air Force was organized for students at Rayat Bahra Professional University, Hoshiarpur, organized by the "Directorate of Induction and Selection in Holistic Approach" (DISHA).
The objective of this program was to provide information to the students about the recruitment process, available opportunities and career guidance to become officers in the Air Force. The program was inaugurated by the Executive Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Chandra Mohan, while welcoming the guests.
Wing Commander Anshuman Samajpati gave detailed information to the students about the role of officers, training process and career development opportunities. Squadron Leader Chakravarti Lakhawat shed light on various departments of the Air Force and their functioning.
Flight Lieutenant Nikhil Pathar discussed career opportunities in technical and administrative fields, while Flying Officer Harsh Sharma stressed on the importance of physical and mental preparation.
The session provided detailed information to the students about the recruitment process, selection criteria, examination, interview and medical test. The objective of the program was to motivate the students to pursue a career in the Air Force and provide them with guidance.
On this occasion, the Air Force officers also gave detailed information about the Air Force aircraft and their technical details to the students through a bus exhibition. Finally, the Director of the University, Admin Kuldeep Rana, thanked all the officers. The in-charges of the university departments and students participated in the event.
