Senior Vice President Dr. Joginder Singh Nirala, poet Trailochan Lochi (Ludhiana) and storyteller Jasveer Singh Rana attended.

In this event, the poetry collection 'Samman de Naina' Chon' written by the Punjabi poet laureate Bharadwaj was presented to the public. First of all, the President of the Sabha, Dr. Darshan Singh 'Asht', welcomed the writers from various districts of Punjab and Chandigarh and wished them a happy New Year. And said that the new and old generation has an important role to spread Punjabi literature successfully all over the world till the present time And it is capable of facing every challenge head on. Madam Harpreet Kaur said that the language department and other literary societies like Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Patiala are doing valuable work for the development of mother tongue. And all the writers are also suggesting creative solutions to other worrying aspects of society through their writings While Dr. Harjinder Singh Atwal said that the present female penman is raising questions by putting multifaceted issues before the society in a very beautiful style in a bold and logical manner. While reading the main paper on the book, Jasvir Singh Rana said that there is boldness in the poetry of Vijayta Bhardwaj. And instead of compromising with wrong values, she has the courage to confront adverse situations. Dr. Joginder Singh Nirala was of the opinion that the literary societies of Punjab are continuously working to awaken human consciousness. The role of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha Patiala is notable among them. Trailochan Lochi presented beautiful Kalam in Tarnum. Dr. Rakesh Tilak Raj, Engineer Parvinder Shokh, Sukhminder Singh Sekhon and Harpal Singh Sandhawalia also shared valuable views about the book.
