Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar- The Punjab government is trying to bring about an education revolution by inaugurating new rooms and making necessary arrangements in government schools. But along with infrastructure, it is necessary to have a principal and teachers in schools to teach. This is the view of Government School Lecturers Union Punjab State President Sanjeev Kumar, General Secretary Balraj Singh Bajwa, Vice President Jagtar Singh Saido, District President of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Baldish Kumar, District President of Tarn Taran Tajinder Singh, State Press Secretary and Mohali President Ranbir Singh Sohal, giving information that out of 13 schools in Dera Bassi education block of Mohali, Government Senior Secondary School Ramgarh Bhuda, Ss There is no principal or lecturer posted at Aur Government Senior Secondary School Bahlor Kalan, Musapur and Bajidpur of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Education Block. There is no principal at Sss Rahon Boys, Bharta Kalan. There is no principal posted at Sss Rail Majra, Bopia, Sss Bagowal, Sss Usman Pur and Sss Bhadi of Education Block Balachaur.
There is no principal posted at Sss Gobindpur, Sss Ghuman, Sss Mandhali, Sss Farala, Sss Saud, Sss Sandhwan, Sss Banga Girls and SOE Banga of Education Block Banga.
The principals of the schools of Harian Girls, Mukandpur, Ratinda of the education block are not posted. The principals of the schools of Kahira, Kahma, Mahal Gehlan, Nora Girls, Suraj Pur, Kariyam, Palli Jhiki of the Nawanshahr education block are not posted. The principals of the schools of Bakkapur, Bachhori, Mallewal, Saroya, and Sahiba of the education block Saroya are not posted. The Government School Lecturers Union Punjab, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains, demands and appeals that the lecturers who have been serving for a long time for the discipline and improvement of education of the students should be promoted and posted as principals so that they can help in bringing a real education revolution.

The promotions of teachers in government senior secondary schools of the Punjab government are done on the basis of seniority list. However, due to errors in preparing the seniority list from time to time, due to cases in the court, the teachers and students who are being promoted have to suffer. Due to this, the posts remain vacant despite having qualified teachers.
Tarn Taran District President Tajinder Singh shared the above views and informed that there is no principal or lecturer posted in the schools of Makhi Kalan, Dhun, Mari Megha, Baler Khurd in the education block of Bhikhiwind of Tarn Taran. There is no principal posted in SOE Bhikhiwind, SOSE Khalra (boys) and (girls), SOSE Sur Singh Boys. In the education block Chohla Sahib, SOSE Brahmapur, SOSE Fatehabad (boys) are devoid of a principal. There is no principal or lecturer posted in Chohla Sahib, Marhana, Manda Pind, Sarhali Kalan. There is no principal posted in Jhabal Kalan (Girls), Narli, Gandiwind, Sohal of Education Block Gandiwind. There is no principal posted in Puri Kalan, Kasal, Nowshera.
There is no principal posted in Vanpon, Vanpon, Verowal Girls, Dhuma, Goindwal Sahib, Kang, Malla Kuro Wallah, Mian Wind, Nagoke of Education Block Khadoor Sahib.
There is no principal posted at Sss Tur of Education Block Nowshera. There is no principal or lecturer posted at Sss Jhamke Khurd, Sss Sahabajpur Boys of Education Block Naurki. There is no principal posted at Sss Sahabajpur Girls, Sss Manochahal. There is no principal posted at Sss Pandori Ran Singh, Sss Ratol, SOE Tarn Taran of Education Block Tarn Taran. There is no principal posted at Sss Jahangir. There is no principal posted at Sss Jhugian Natha Singh, Sss Valtoha Girls, Sss Khemkaran (Girls) and (Boys) of Education Block Valtoha. There is no principal posted at Sss Valtoha Boys, Sss Varnala.
The principals of Sss Dubli, Sss Harike, Sss Kachha Pakka, Sss Ghariyala, Sss Kiratpal Kalan, Sss Kotbuddha, Sss Sabaran, S O E Patti, Sss Patti Girls, Sss Bahmani of Education Block Patti are not posted.
The provincial leaders of Government School Lecturers Union Punjab humbly appeal to the Principal Secretary Education that for the future of the students and for the lecturers serving for 25 years, the process of posting principals by promoting them should be started after amending the 2018 rules so that they can help in bringing about an education revolution.
