College students will be given first aid training by Red Cross for three days - Deputy Commissioner

Una, October 25 - In collaboration with District Red Cross, a one-day first aid training was organized to deal with emergency situations at Government Girls College, Kotla Khurd. Giving this information, District Red Cross President and Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma said that more than 160 young Red Cross group members participated in the training camp. During the training, Youth Red Cross students were made aware about first aid, tying bandages and effective methods to save a person in an emergency.
He said that in this series, in district Una, on October 26, training programs will be organized at Himcaps College, Badhera, Government College, Haroli and Beetan, while on October 27, training programs will be organized at Government College, Amb and Chintpurni.
On this occasion, a first aid camp was organized by Deva and his colleagues and disaster friends at Kotla Khurd College.
On this occasion, Principal of the college, all the staff members, Virendra Singh from State Red Cross, instructor Parveen Mahajan from St. John Ambulance and members of DDMA were also present.
