Nawanshahr, 23rd December 2023: A meeting of the governing body of District Hospital Nawanshahr Patient Welfare Committee was held at the District Administrative Complex under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, in which the medical structural strengthening of Civil Hospital Nawanshahr and providing better health facilities to the people was held. Many important issues were discussed and many important resolutions were approved.

During the Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting, Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that the Rogi Kalyan Samiti is making every possible effort to strengthen the medical structure of Civil Hospital Nawanshahr and provide better health services to the common people. He said that the Rogi Kalyan Samiti is committed to the welfare of the patients admitted to the hospital. So the funds received will be spent only for the welfare of the patients.

In this regard, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jaspreet Kaur said that the Patient Welfare Committee has accepted all the resolutions of the hospital. These resolutions included re-opening of Jan-Oshadhi medical stores, repairing the ceiling of the eye operation theater of the hospital's main operation theater and purchasing blankets for the patients.

Earlier, Senior Medical Officer-cum-Member Secretary Dr. Satwinderpal Singh presented to the governing body of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti various resolutions for the improvement of the civil hospital and purchase of medical equipment, which were unanimously approved. Permission granted.

On this occasion, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Neena Shant, Dr. Amit Kumar, Nursing Sister Satwinderpal Kaur, Pharmacy Officer Prince, General Secretary of Doaba Sewa Samiti Ratan Jain and Harvinder Singh Hafjabadi along with all the members of Rogi Kalyan Samiti of District Hospital, Nawanshahr. were present
