Organized, in which students were made aware about Ayurvedic system of healthy living, healing therapy, balanced diet, yoga and meditation etc.
On this occasion, Ayurvedic Medical Officer Dr. Amarpreet Kaur Dhillon also organized a yoga break session for the students. Yoga Break is a protocol designed to help people reduce stress, refresh and refocus. It involves sitting in a chair and doing some light exercises that can be done after taking a few minutes break from work. During this, some important facts/points related to the medical science of herbs and plants related to medicine were also highlighted.
Dr. Amarpreet Kaur Dhillon gave detailed information about yoga postures and actions for 45 minutes according to the common yoga protocol to the entire school staff and students and also told about the good effects of yoga on health. He said that yoga is beneficial for overall health. He encouraged the children to adopt the habit of doing yoga daily to live a stress-free and disease-free life.
On this occasion, Ayurvedic Medical Officer Dr. Addressing the students, Amarpreet Kaur Dhillon said that the aim of this campaign, which is being run under the theme of Ayurveda every day, every home, is to spread awareness among children about the benefits of Ayurvedic medicine. School Director Achala Bhalla said that the district Ayurvedic and Unani Department is working hard to promote Ayurvedic methods to make the society healthy and to bring this ancient Indian method home to home. He said that while Ayurveda is an effective method for treating diseases, this method also connects us with nature. According to Ayurvedic medical texts, it is a medical system that teaches the right way of living, which can lead to a long, healthy and happy life. This system of medicine not only treats the disease immediately but also tries to make the body naturally healthy and strengthen the immune system. Apart from others, school staff including Principal Amit Sabharwal were present on the occasion.
