SAS Nagar, December 7 - On the call of the joint employee forum, the 'pen-dropping' strike of the employees in the local civil surgeon office and various offices under the district health department is continuing.

Today at the Civil Surgeon office, the employees raised strong slogans against the government and demanded immediate implementation of the demands of the employees. On this occasion, the employee leaders said that due to the stubbornness and neglect of the government, the employees are having to extend the strike continuously, but the government is not doing anything.

He said that the government does not care about the common people who are suffering in the offices. If the government was even remotely concerned about the welfare of the people, the government would have accepted the demands of the employees immediately. He said that if the government does not accept the demands, further struggle will be announced as per the decision of the forum. On this occasion, employee leaders Davinder Singh, Dilbagh Singh, Randhir Singh etc. were present.
