Chandigarh, August 10, 2024:- The first centralized in-person counselling for B.Ed Admissions 2024 began on August 9, 2024, at the Law Auditorium, Panjab University Chandigarh, for the UT pool (60%). Out of a total of 573 merit-based candidates, 352 candidates with a merit score up to 43.00 were called for admissions against 144 seats in Chandigarh's education colleges. On the first day of counselling, 117 seats were filled in B.Ed. colleges in Chandigarh under the UT pool (60%) in both general and reserved categories as per the schedule. During the counselling for the General Pool (40%), including general and reserved categories, Foreign Students, Sports Students, and EWS Category Students (both UT and General pool), a total of 60 seats were filled. The first counselling concluded smoothly. Dr. N.R.
