Una, November 24 - To create awareness about prevention from natural and man-made disasters, community exercise will be conducted by the NDRF team of 14th Battalion at various places in the district from December 4 to 16. Giving this information, District Disaster Management and Authority Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Una Raghav Sharma said that the NDRF team held a meeting with the District Disaster Management officials at the district headquarters on December 4 at 11 am to check the availability of bridges, inventory resources and the last five days in the district. Information related to natural and unnatural incidents that have occurred over the years will be collected. In this series, awareness and capacity building programs will be organized for students and employees on 5th December at Ravamapa Haroli and on 6th December at Indus International University Bathu at 10 am.
He informed that the NDRF team will organize awareness and capacity building programs for students/employees under sub-division Gagret at Ravmapa Ambota on December 7 and at Dr. BR Ambedkar Government Polytechnic Ambota on December 8 at 10 am.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the NDRF team will collect information related to unsafe profiles at Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple on December 9 at 10 am under Sub-Division Amb. On 11th December, Ravmapa will organize an awareness and capacity building program for students/employees at 10 am in Amb.
He said that the NDRF team will organize an awareness and capacity building program for students/employees under sub-division Bangana on 12th December at 10 am at Rawampa Bangana and on 13th December at 10.30 am, an awareness program will be organized at Gobind Sagar Lake on the vulnerable profiles and potential areas of submergence. Will collect information.
He said that on December 15 at 10 am, Indian Oil Corporation Limited will hold a meeting with local management officials at Pekhubela regarding unsafe profiles. Apart from this, on 16th December at 10 am, IOCL will hold a meeting regarding unsafe profile with local management officials at Indane Bottling Plant Raipur Sahodan.
