
Grand Nishan Yatra on the occasion of 53rd Shri Shyam Mahotsav of Shri Shyam Mandir.
Hisar: – A grand Nishan Yatra was taken out in the city on Wednesday on the occasion of 53rd Shri Shyam Mahotsav of Shri Shyam Mandir Hansi. In the Nishan Yatra, 2351 women and men took the Nishan from the temple premises chanting Jai Shri Shyam and returned to the temple premises via the main market of the city.
Hisar: – A grand Nishan Yatra was taken out in the city on Wednesday on the occasion of 53rd Shri Shyam Mahotsav of Shri Shyam Mandir Hansi. In the Nishan Yatra, 2351 women and men took the Nishan from the temple premises chanting Jai Shri Shyam and returned to the temple premises via the main market of the city.
This grand Nishan Yatra was led by Jagdish Mittal, head of Shri Shyam Mitra Mandal. Ram Avtar Goyal and Vijay Goyal of Sisar were the presidents. The grand Nishan Yatra was welcomed at various places in the city and shopkeepers set up various types of stalls and offered food, cold drinks and sweet water to the devotees.
The crowd in the Nishan Yatra was worth seeing. When the Nishan Yatra returned to the temple after circling the city, the first line was inside the temple and the last line was near the Shaheed Smarak built on Lal Sadak. The line of Nishan Yatra was about 700 meters long. On the occasion of Nishan Yatra, Pradhan Jagdish Rai Mittal, Vinay Jain, Bhagwat Swaroop Singal, Mahendra Garg, Gaurav Jain, Laxmi Kant Garg, Pappu Khardia, Mohit Mittal, Sunil Mittal, Anil Goyal, Raghav Goyal (spokesperson) and a large number of Shyam devotees were present.
Shri Shyam Mitra Mandal's Pradhan Jagdish Mittal said that Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra will be taken out in the city tomorrow. Devotees from ISKCON Bahadurgarh, Rohtak and Hisar will do Hariram Nagar Sankirtan in the Yatra. Shri Shyam Rath Yatra will be taken out on 30th May. During the Rath Yatra, grand electric fireworks will be done from the temple premises to the Toran Dwar and on 31st May, a huge Shri Shyam Jagran will be organized in the premises of PCSD School.
Kanhaiya Mittal from Chandigarh, Saurabh Sharma from Calcutta, Ayush Somani from Jaipur and Parvinder Palak from Fatehabad will sing praises of Baba in the Jagran. At the same time, in an evening organised on June 1 in the name of Saaware, Sadhvi Purnima Shyam will enthrall the devotees with her songs.
