SAS Nagar, November 4 - During the two days allotted by the local administration for the cursory correction of the votes, the administration has assigned the duty of the block level officers for the work of the votes, but due to the lack of adequate arrangements for their seating. They are forced to sit on government benches under the open sky and do the work of making votes.
Councilor of Municipal Corporation Kamalpreet Singh Banni said that the administration did not arrange for the sitting of the BLO. He said that when the BLOs deployed in the sports complex of Phase 9 did not get a place to sit, they were sitting on the government bench under the open sky and were working on voting. They demanded that the BLO, which is doing the work of polling, should be provided with a dignified working environment.
