Apart from this, road accident claim cases, electricity and water related cases, matrimonial disputes, land acquisition cases will also be heard and settled. Anita Sharma said that the cases which have not yet been filed in the court will also be settled in the Lok Adalat under pre-litigation.
He said that a special campaign is also being run for public awareness about National Lok Adalat in which the general public will be made aware through local bodies, police, transport department, financial institutions, NGOs, para-legal volunteers, Asha Anganwadi workers. being done. He said that Lok Adalat has many benefits and it saves time and money. No fees are charged for disposal of cases in Lok Adalat, and court fees for old cases are also refunded. Through Lok Adalat, no party faces any loss/defeat and the matter is resolved through mutual negotiations.
