Patiala, November 2 -Additional District Magistrate Anupreeta Johal using the powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act No. 2 of 1974) for organizing dangerous stunts of tractors/motorcycles and related implements within Patiala district limits. Prohibition orders have been issued. These orders will remain in force till 30 December 2023.
It has been said in the order that according to the letter received from the Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab, some incidents have taken place in the state in the past, in which a youth has also died during a dangerous performance/stunt of tractors and related tools. Hence there is a need to ban the organization of dangerous stunts of tractors and related implements.
